The area information on Oneplace comes from an evaluation of public services known as Comprehensive Area Assessment. These assessments ended in June 2010. This website covers the annual assessments first released in December 2009, and will not be updated further.

Freedom of information

Oneplace is the public name given to the Comprehensive Area Assessment (CAA).

Under CAA, a joint assessment of your local area is made by a group of six independent inspectorates. It is our aim to make as much information as possible available through this website, but if you cannot find what you are looking for, please get in touch with the Audit Commission’s Public Enquiries team who will try to help.

If the information you’re looking for is ‘recorded information’ such as a report or letter, that is not readily available, we may deal with your request under the Freedom of Information Act, should it fall within this category.

To make a request for information please either email public-enquiries@audit-commission.gov.uk or write to:

Please be sure to provide your name and either a postal or email address so that we can contact you, and a clear description of the information you want. Should you prefer us to call you, please also provide your telephone number.

Once we have reviewed your request, we will either contact you to help you find what you are looking for, let you know when we will be responding to you or alternatively, let you know which inspectorate is likely to hold the information you require and how to contact them.

If you’re unhappy with the outcome of your request, any concerns should be addressed to the inspectorate that dealt with your request.

The inspectorates who are working together are:
