Find out how well your local public services are performing and how well they use public money

Local public services provide can have a big impact on peoples' lives. They provide a huge variety of services to their local communities. We've independently assessed how well they are providing these services and examined how well they are providing value for money and have reported on them here. We've assessed:

  • Councils
  • Fire and rescue services
  • Health services (primary care trusts)
  • Police

Organisational Assessments

Organisational assessments examine performance and value for money in councils and health services (primary care trusts), police and fire and rescue services, and how well they are working with one another. In Oneplace we've reported on how all of these are providing value for money and using public funds. For councils and fire and rescue services, we've included a more detailed report of how well they are performing overall. For primary care trusts and police, we've provided links to more information on how well they are performing.
