Oneplace provides information about every area in England. Six independent inspectorates have assessed each area and reported on what local public services are doing to address the important issues facing each area. Every area has the following information and functionality available.
Search by area
Local public services often work together. We’ve looked at how well local public services are tackling the major issues to produce an area assessment. Where we’ve identified outstanding achievements or improvements, or where we have major concerns about problems in the area and not enough is being done to tackle them, we’ve used flags to highlight the issues. We’ve reported the area assessment based on what public services have set out as their priorities for the area. However, you can also search what we’ve found by a number of themes, such as children, health, and crime and safety.
Search by organisation
As well as information covering the area we’ve also assessed how well individual local public services are performing and how well they are using their resources. Oneplace includes organisational assessments for every council and fire and rescue authority in England. There are also assessments for the Greater London Authority and other pan-London bodies such as Transport for London.

We've grouped these by a number of themes to help you quickly identify the issues you're interested in. We've also provided some information about council tax and the funding of local public services.
